UCC-128/MH10 shipping labels
Barcoding (UCC/EAN) is designed to provide concise information about the label and the box contents in order to link it to EDI transactions such as 856 EDI ASN (Advance Ship Notice). Just like each retailer has different requirements for its EDI transactions, so do the UCC128/MH10 labels templates. EDI Gateway’s software is capable of generating UCC128/MH10 Labels that are compliant to each retailer’s specific requirements and template specs. The UCC-128/MH-10 labels (GS1-128) are automatically generated through our ASN software application based on your packing rules, allowing you to save time when creating your 856 EDI ASNs. Tested according to GS1 guidelines for barcode symbols as well as the retailers’ specific EDI requirements, EDI Gateway ensures a 100 % compliance.

You may not be ready for integration or have an ERP/Accounting system that allows such a process. For that reason, you may want to consider implementing FTP option. FTP is used to transfer files between computers on a network, to exchange files between computer accounts, to transfer files between an account and a desktop computer, or access online software archives. You can use a web browser to connect to FTP addresses exactly as you would to connect to HTTP addresses. Using FTP, you will be able to automate your business document exchange with your trading partner without the use of complex infra-structure or software. You will be able to retrieve the files from your FTP folder and import them directly into your system, in the format you require. In turn, you will be able to place outgoing files on ftp for EDI Gateway to retrieve, translate and transmit out in EDI, on your behalf. Data integrity is ensured through secure and reliable communication standard, and the process is automated, eliminating manual data entry errors and time delays.
