WebGate is EDI Gateway’s web forms program for entering purchase orders and invoices into MBS. WebGate requires no special software and can be used on any computer that has access to the Internet and a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape. WebGate is user-friendly and EDI Gateway continually adds functionality to make it easier for customers to use.
FeaturesDocument turnarounds. Purchase orders and invoices hold similar data while they pass through the order cycle. WebGate will “turnaround” a purchase order into an invoice, thus eliminating the need for re-keying.
Functional acknowledgements. EDI functional acknowledgements are an essential control, ensuring that electronic documents are transmitted successfully between trading partners. WebGate will send and reconcile acknowledgements with your trading partners, and indicate any discrepancies that require action.
Profiles and templates. Data that is sent to trading partners often repeats from one document to the next. Rather than having to re-key the same data each time, WebGate pre-fills the fields on a web form using the data contained in your templates and profiles. |
