MXClient is PC-based software for managing orders and shipments and is provided at no cost for EDI Gateway customers. It looks and operates much like e-mail software, with EDI hidden “under the covers”. MXClient connects to MBS to receive Purchase Orders (850), Purchase Order Changes (860), Remittance Advices (820) and Application Advices (824) from trading partners. Once goods are ready to be shipped, the software creates Advanced Ship Notices (856) that are sent to your trading partners through MBS. The business rules for each trading partner are embedded into MXClient and EDI Gateway monitors changes from trading partners to ensure that the your software is always up-to-date.

FeaturesShipping document creation. MXClient helps you process shipments by printing picking lists for use in the warehouse to pick the orders. Packing profiles. Not all companies pack goods for shipment in the same manner. Within MXClient you choose a packing profile that matches the way you ship goods. Customers enter shipments based on this profile and MXClient builds an ASN according to each of your trading partner's requirements. If you have a unique method of packing, EDI Gateway will add a new profile in MXClient that matches your packing method. ASN and shipping label creation. Each trading partner has different requirements for ASNs and UCC/EAN labels. As shipments are entered into MXClient using the packing profile, differences are recognized for each trading partner, and ASNs and UCC/EAN labels are formatted accordingly.
Enable Software (Optional)
Most accounting and ERP systems are not adept at handling EDI transactions. These systems, for example, do not have a home in their database for fields that arrive on an incoming EDI document. Trading partners later expect the data in those fields to be sent back in another EDI document. This function, among others, is performed by the Enable software.
Enable is a companion product to MXClient. While MXClient handles the business rules of your trading partner, Enable handles the business rules of your accounting / ERP system. It also performs EDI-related tasks that your accounting / ERP system cannot handle.
